Hello everyone! I know I said that I would post to this thing every few days but sometimes those 3 kids, the dog, the husband, the job......kinda take priority over my blogging. Hahaha So anyways, Jadyn and I left last night for our girl time. She LOVES going with mommy out to dinner just the 2 of us. We always have so much fun. We originally were going to go to our favorite Japanese/Sushi place called Yoshi Hachi's. You sit on the floor and have to take your shoes off. Jadyn really enjoys that place. However, they were sadly closed yesterday so we decided to try a new place. We ventured down to "American Village". This place pretty cool. Lots of restaurants, McDonalds, clothing shops, HUGE arcades, candy shop, Movie Theatre, StarBucks.....lots to do. We found a Italian place beside the movie Theatre. Here is a little something you should know about Japan. Almost every restaurant has a display case in the front of the store. They have created plastic but lifelike dishes to replicate their own dishes. They do this so that you can actually see the food and decide if you want to eat there. Pretty cool huh. Anyways, so the food was outstanding and Jadyn got a pretty cool little crown to wear while she was eating her meal. The Japanese love kids let me tell you. here are a few pictures from our evening. I wish you guys were here to see all this. We were driving down the road last night and we had our windows down. You could hear Japanese drummers and japanese music. Next week the Japanese celebrate UBON. Its where they celebrate the dead. They have festivals and many different ceremonies that they to to honor their deceased loved ones. I think the music we heard was maybe them practicing and getting ready for next week. Regardless, it was pretty neat to hear this as we were just driving. I was thinking about my family and wishing that you guys could experience this with us. Okay, enough rambling.
